Theoretical preconditions for the process of screw sectional blanks winding by the device with rotating bushing are developed. Analytical dependences are obtained. On their basis the moment of winding on the edge of the tape with constant width and thickness from the outer radius of the hollow forming bushing is determined. The investigation of force parameters of the tape winding process on intricate frame profile is carried out. Analytical dependences of the radius of the frame profile curvature used for bending force determination are derived. The process of calibration of cone windings of the screw workpieces in pitch of technological equipment development is investigated. The equation of plasticity with the determination of stresses in winding compression and tension areas, analytical dependences for the determination of winding straightening moment are derived, the axial forces of winding deformation and required torque on the drive for screw sectional workpieces calibration in pitch are determined. The dynamics of winding calibration of conical screw workpiece in pitch is investigated. The differential equation of oscillations of the reduced system on the basis of Lagrange equations of the second kind is derived. The impact interaction of the wedge with the conical screw workpiece winding is investigated and the analytical dependence for the determination of the impact force of the wedge and the workpiece is derived. The graphical dependences of the change of deformation angle of the machine tool spindle and frame, linear deformation of the frame for calibration in axis y direction in time, changes of linear wedge deformation in axis z direction in time, changes of linear wedge deformation in axis y direction in time are constructed. It is established that the system components deformations in time initially increase sharply as a result of impact loads, and then gradually increase with damped oscillations while moving the wedge towards the cylindrical part of the workpiece. The method and results of experimental investigation with obtaining the regression equations for the determination of dependence of the torque of screw tape sections winding by the rotating bushing, the torque of calibration of conical screw workpiece winding in pitch, efforts of forming the spherical bushing of the working element section and cutting force during the workpiece turning of screw sectional working elements are given. On the basis of the carried out complex of theoretical and experimental investigations the competitive screw sectional working elements are created, the technical and economic substantiation of their manufacturing technologies introduced in manufacturing is made.
