Essay

The thesis studies the issue of training future social educators to organize cultural and leisure activities for secondary school pupils. Subsequently, it justifies and experimentally verifies the effectiveness of pedagogical conditions for training future social educators to organize cultural and leisure activities for secondary school pupils. These conditions are the following: developing students’ motivational and creative attitude towards the organization of cultural and leisure activities for secondary school pupils; modifying the content of professional-pedagogical training of students based on full consideration of features of cultural and leisure activities; involving students in the online activity of cultural and leisure mode. The thesis presents the author’s model of training future social educators to organize cultural and leisure activities for secondary school pupils. Besides, it clarifies the content of such basic concepts as «training future social educators to organize cultural and leisure activities for secondary school pupils», «readiness of future social educators to organize cultural and leisure activities for pupils», «cultural and leisure activities of pupils». The thesis specifies components (motivational, cognitive, activity-related), criteria (motivational-axiological, substantive-cognitive, professional-operational) and indicators of readiness in future social educators to organize cultural and leisure activities for secondary school pupils. Finally, the thesis further develops the content, forms and methods of training future social educators in higher education institutions, as well as the functions of cultural and leisure activities of secondary school pupils.
