The thesis studied the problem of formation of readiness of future tourism specialists to animation activities in recreational and health sphere. For the first time, the organizational and pedagogical conditions of formation of readiness of future tourism specialists to animation activities in recreational and heath sphere are outlined, theoretically grounded and experimentally verified (optimization of the content of professional training of future tourism specialists in accordance with the peculiarities of animation activities implementation in the recreational and health sphere; contribution to professional and personal development of future tourism specialists in the process of application of innovative educational technologies; evolvement of professional skills of future tourism specialists in conducting animation activities in the process of job training). The author’s model of formation of readiness of future tourism specialists to animation activities in recreational and health sphere, which consists of target, theoretical and methodological, content, procedural and evaluation subsystems, has been developed. The target subsystem of the model contains a goal and tasks of formation of readiness of future tourism specialists to animation activities in recreational and health sphere. The theoretical and methodological subsystem of the model contains methodological approaches (competence-based, qualitological, qualimetric, culturological, acmeological) and principles (of humanization, cultural correspondence, unity of traditions and innovation, educational reflection, self-development, creativity). The content subsystem of the model includes structural components (motivational, intellectual, activity-related, communicative and productive, as well as reflexive) of readiness of future tourism specialists to animation activities in recreational and health sphere. The procedural subsystem of the model includes forms, methods, means, stages and functions of formation of readiness of future tourism specialists to animation activities in recreational and health sphere. The evaluation subsystem included criteria (motivational and value, cognitive, procedural, communicative, reflexive), indicators and levels (high, average and low) of formedness of readiness of future tourism specialists to animation activities in recreational and health sphere. The result is the formed readiness of future tourism specialists to the animation activities in recreational and health sphere.
