The problem field of approaches is characterized tested by leading Ukrainian artists in the Opera Studio of NMAU named after P. I. Tchaikovsky, which becomes a heuristic potential for further art and cultural studies on the problems of national musical culture and its international relations in the second half of the XX –– early XXI century. Based on the first submitted or revised archival materials is circumstances of creative and pedagogical activity are revealed and the aesthetic and artistic specification of personal measurements of the leading masters of the Opera Studio is carried out. Information about a number of performances has been introduced into scientific circulation which became significant artistic events of national importance. The practical stage experience of the Opera Studio of NMAU named after P. I. Tchaikovsky which focuses on both teaching and creating an artistic product. The studio is a carrier of traditions as a multifunctional artistic and pedagogical complex, initiator of innovations, educational institution and a fixer of educational and professional level. Practical stage experience of the Opera Studio of NMAU named after P. I. Tchaikovsky which focuses on both teaching and creating an artistic product deserves special attention in the context of the musical and theatrical culture of Ukraine in the second half of the 20 – early 21 centuries. A combination of artistic and stage, pedagogical, communicative and other components in its activities which provided by the pedagogical level, the composition of the performers (basic and exclusive composition, conservatory students, vocal group, orchestra, choreographic group) and the authors of the artistic solution of the performances (director, conductor, set designer, etc.), significant organizational and material resources turned the Opera Studio into multifunctional artistic and pedagogical complex. The effectiveness of this complex which is also a carrier of traditions, initiator of innovations, educational institution, fixator of educational and professional level, reigns undeniable influence on modern Ukrainian art culture in general and its representation in the world. It is determined that the stage of the Opera Studio is one of the leading mechanisms for actualization of the cultural and historical potential of opera art in Ukraine. The experience of forming the stage mastery of the director, the vocalist was reconstructed in the context of socialist realism, nonconformist tendencies, metamodern as a generalized paradigm of art of the late XX –– early XXI centuries, presenting as explicit (normatively nominated features of the Kiev artistic stage), and implicit (aesthetically and individually defined toolkit author poetics) trends in the development of pedagogical systems. Research shows that artistic and pedagogical potential of the Opera Studio of NMAU named after P. I. Tchaikovsky, achievements of the opera stage of the studio which were realized in difficult political and social circumstances and conditions of aesthetic transformations is an important factor in development musical and theatrical culture of Ukraine in the second half f the XX –– early XXI century.
