The dissertation is devoted to substantiation of theoretical and methodical bases of formation of intercultural competence of the future professionals in the field of ‘Information Technologies’ in the educational environment of university. An analysis of the peculiarities of the formation of intercultural competence of the future professionals in the field of ‘Information Technologies through the prism of the structural components of the educational environment of the university information, social and technological components. The structure of intercultural competence of the future professionals in the field of ‘Information Technologies’ in the educational environment of the university. The structural and functional model of formation of intercultural competence of the future professionals in the field of «Information Technology» in the educational environment of the university and the corresponding organizational and pedagogical conditions for the formation of intercultural competence of the future professionals in the field of «IT» in the educational environment of the university are substantiated. The results of the observational stage of the experiment showed an insufficient level of intercultural competence of the future professionals in the field of ‘Information Technologies’ and confirmed the feasibility of scientific substantiation and development of structural and functional model of formation of intercultural competence of the future professionals in the field of ‘Information Technologies’. components of intercultural competence of the future professionals in the field of ‘Information Technologies’, the content and procedural content of each stage: goal-methodological (purpose, objectives, methodological approaches and principles of formation of intercultural competence); methodical and formative (forms, means, methods, stages of formation of intercultural competence; diagnostic and effective block (criteria, levels, result).
