Essay

Dissertation is devoted to the problem of structure, component composition and semantics of ethnophrases of East Slobozhansk and East Steppe dialects. The scientific novelty of the obtained results is that for the first time in Ukrainian studies on the material of dialect phraseology comprehensively considered phraseology, which represents the subject cultural code in phraseology, the status of ethnophrases, their typology, revealed the relationship of areal phraseological units with ethnoculture components of phraseology, their phrase-forming activity in Ukrainian East Slobozhansk and East Steppe dialects is analyzed, the method of expression of ethnophrases by means of associative psycholinguistic experiment is described, the place of ethnophrases in the phraseological picture of the world of the area is established. The basic concept of the research is defined: ethnophrase is a stable combination of words, the components of which are connected by unity of content, constantly reproduced in speech, based on stereotypes of ethnic consciousness, which are representatives of people's culture and have imagery and expressiveness. Taking into account the essential characteristics of the studied concept, it is determined that ethnophrase usually has the same features as other phraseologies: it is characterized by the reproducibility of component composition, structural model and phraseological meaning in the form of a static combination. The meaning of an ethnophrase is not derived from the meaning of its components. However, the problems of universal definition of ethnophrases and criteria for their classification are of interest to modern phraseology. Consideration of ethnophraseologisms as a complex linguistic signs still remains an open problem and expands the study of ethnophraseology, allowing interdisciplinary studies of ethnophrases within linguoculturology, cognitivistics, ethnolinguistics and sociolinguistics. The author substantiates that the subject code of culture of Ukrainian East Slobozhansk and East-Steppe dialects is formed by phrases of subject-household subcode, which often include names related to folk crafts, tools of agricultural production, labor processes, names of large containers for liquids, bulk or bulk substances. names of musical instruments, etc. The architectural and construction subcode of culture is represented by phrases, figurative concretizers of which are the names of housing and its parts, the names of farm buildings and their parts. The subject-interior subcode of culture includes phrases with the names of parts of housing. The subject-vessel subcode of culture in Ukrainian East Slobozhansk and East-Steppe dialects is connected with the use of dish names in phrases. Subject-glutonymic subcode of culture combines phraseology, figurative concretizers of which are the names of vegetables and plants that are eaten; names of different types of fruits; names of cereals; names of legumes; names of mushrooms; names of fish and fish dishes; names of animals, birds, meat consumed and products thereof; names of flour products; names of dishes and individual products used in cooking; names of dairy products; names of drinks. The results of the research were introduced into the educational process of the State Institution «Luhansk Taras Shevchenko National University» (Starobilsk). Based on the semantics and structural-component organization of ethnophrases, a conclusion was made about the formation of ethnophraseology as a branch of ethnolinguistics, the subject of which is the phraseological fund of language, which is considered in contrastive or interdisciplinary aspects. Ethnophrasis as a unit of ethnophraseology is a stable combination of words, the components of which are connected by the unity of content, constantly reproduced in speech, based on stereotypes of ethnic consciousness. They are representatives of the culture of the people and have imagery and expressiveness. The semantic center of an ethnophrase is a figurative concretizer that is represented as a structural component of a stable combination of words, which is usually a multidimensional mental unit that reflects the objects of both the visual and the ideal world. This kind of mental formation, which preserves the national memory of native speakers, is a unit of collective consciousness, which is characterized by multidimensionality, discrete meaning, symbolism, connection with the culture of he people.
