Essay

The thesis presents an acute scientific problem of increasing the efficiency of diagnostics and treatment of men with pathospermia, which has arisen owing to a metabolic syndrome and the raised body mass index, by developing optimum treatment-and-prophylactic tactics We updated scientific data on the results of treatment of men with pathospermia on the background of metabolic syndrome which depend on the body mass index, the severity of the general manifestations of metabolic syndrome, its duration, and sexual dysfunction. In order to normalize the endocrine function of the testes we supplemented the complex therapy of pathospermia with human chorionic gonadotropin, which significantly improved the hormonal and lipid profile and corrected the manifestations of androgen deficiency in men. The research allowed broadening the scientific concepts about the effectiveness of Doppler ultrasound in assessing the blood circulation of the testicles and the effectiveness of the proposed complex therapy in patients with pathospermia on the background of metabolic syndrome with high body mass index. We proved the effectiveness of complex therapy of spermatogenesis induction in men with pathospermia on the background of metabolic syndrome with increased body mass index. It is reflected in the increase of spermogram quantitative indicators: concentration, total number of samples taking into account the planned assisted reproductive technology in pairs with male factor and the possibility of forming additional reserve cryoses of ejaculate
