The dissertation research is devoted to the study of psychological features of development of aesthetic consciousness of first-year students of socionomic specialties and development on this basis of the program of development of this professionally important quality. Sensory-image and conceptual-logical forms of experience. The components that form the specificity of aesthetic consciousness, in contrast to its other forms, are feelings, evaluations, tastes, ideals, theory. They need to be clarified with the concept of «aesthetic» for each of the structural elements. It was found that, first, aesthetic consciousness is a spiritual whole, which is the unity of many components of the creation of a special – emotional and intellectual attitude to reality. The connecting links of this complex system of spiritual interactions are sensory data about the world and the activity of the cerebral cortex. Emotions perform the function of regulating the activity of the subject depending on the importance of internal and external sensory data. As a component of intellectual activity, emotions enter the field of creation of higher, spiritual forms of experience. Secondly, the peculiarity of aesthetic consciousness is the creation of attitudes to objects that are not directly related to practical needs, but directed to the spiritual sphere. The coherence of spiritual structures unfolds in the direction of increasing the logical motivation of the attitude to the objects of indifference in view of their self-sufficient vitality, testifying to the general tendency and specific feature of aesthetic consciousness. Third, aesthetic consciousness is characterized by the presence in the content of knowledge not only the results of cognitive activity, but also the integrity of the attitude to them. That is, as active forms of spiritual experience there are sensory and logical data. Fourth, the content of aesthetic consciousness reflects the objective regularity of the ability of the senses to be the formative principle of the spirit and to objectify themselves in various activities: evaluative, image-forming and theoretical-reflexive. It was found that the success of the formation and development of aesthetic consciousness of future specialists of socionomic professions depends on the development of their aesthetic needs, motivation to perceive and assimilate aesthetic information, their involvement in the educational process and determine personal position in it and related to environmental perception, aesthetic experience, which has already been acquired in the process of life, value advantages, level of intellectual development. The experimental group included 146 students, while the control group consisted of 112 students from different free economic zones. The use of axiological, system-activity, personality-oriented and acmeological approaches to the development of this model allowed to present it as a holistic system formed by a set of functionally related and regular components. The components of the model developed by us are the target, conceptual and substantive components. aesthetic consciousness and implement a comprehensive program for the development of aesthetic consciousness of students of socionomic specialties. The developed program was experimentally tested and confirmed its effectiveness.
