The dissertation research is devoted to the theoretical and empirical determination of the influence of the levels of professional self - determination of high school students on personal growth. The theoretical analysis of scientific approaches to studying the problem of professional self - determination of high school students is carried out in the work. A theoretical analysis of scientific research in domestic and foreign literature on the impact of professional self-determination of high school students on their personal growth. The concepts of «purposeful professional self-determination», «personal growth», «career guidance space» are revealed. The peculiarities of the influence of professional self-determination on personal growth are determined. Criteria, indicators, levels of professional self-determination of high school students and conditions conducive to their personal growth are determined.At the ascertaining stage the results of research of levels of formation of components of professional self-determination (passive-situational, formal, consciously-purposeful) and personal growth of senior pupils (low, average, high) are presented. The results of the observational experiment showed that the vast majority of high school students are at the middle level, which corresponds to formal professional self-determination. Correlations have been established between professional self-determination and personal growth of high school students. A comprehensive educational and developmental program of purposeful professional self-determination of high school students as a factor of personal growth has been developed and tested. The effectiveness of using the program by the positive dynamics of changes in the indicators of the components of personal growth of high school students is proved.
