Essay

The dissertation is devoted to the study of the problem of motivation of professional development of future skilled workers. The concept of motivation of professional development of future skilled workers as a set of motives that determine and regulate the process of professional and personal development is revealed. It is determined that the leading role in the process of professional development of the future specialist is played by professional motives, namely: motives for understanding the purpose of the profession; motives of professional activity (activity-procedural and activity-effective); motives of professional communication (motives of prestige of a profession in a society, social cooperation in a profession, interpersonal communication in a profession); motives for the manifestation of personality in the profession (motives for the development and self-realization of the individual and the development of individuality in the profession). The types of motives that have the greatest impact on the motivation of professional development of future skilled workers are identified: the motive of self-affirmation; motive of identification; cognitive motive; social motive; motive for achievement; motive of self-development.The program of development of motivation of professional development of future skilled workers is substantiated, developed and tested, its expediency and efficiency are proved. The effectiveness of the developed, tested and implemented in the process of professional training program for the development of motivation of professional development of future skilled workers is revealed in: raising awareness of professional choice, cognitive motive of educational activity, motive of achievement, desire for self-actualization; formation of adequate self-esteem, awareness of their qualities and requirements of the profession, the ability to compare them and set goals for personal and professional self-development; formation of a system of professional values and meanings, the formation of responsibility for achieving results in vocational training, the pursuit of self-improvement.Thematic areas of the educational and developmental program are implemented through the implementation of organizational psychological and pedagogical forms of work: lectures and practical classes, group training, individual psychological counseling.
