Vihivskii I. Investigation of hostage-taking

The dissertation explores theoretical and applied issues of hostage-taking investigation. It is summarized that the structure of the hostage-taking investigation should include its forensic profile, the basic organization of the investigation and procedural tactics. The outline of the chosen research topic is based on the study of its theoretical and methodological principles, forensic characteristics and circumstances to be clarified, organizational and tactical support for the investigation of hostage-taking, on the basis of which a number of conclusions and recommendations have been formulated, which are distinguished by scientific novelty. The scientific positions obtained as a result of the research provide grounds for formulating conclusions and recommendations that are important both for the theory and practice of hostage-taking investigation.
