Essay

In the theses on the basis of complex research using modern morphological and clinical methods studied in detail and analyzed the structure of the maxillary sinuses in adult males and females and established patterns of their adjustment in age. Based on the data of the analysis of a series of three-dimensional tomographic studies, the analysis was performed and the frequency of different variants of the maxillary sinuses in men and women of early and late mature age was identified. The individual features of the linear dimensions of the maxillary sinuses in men and women of different periods of mature age were studied and clarified in detail, and the regularities of their relationship were established. The variants of contacts of the teeth of the upper jaw with the cortical plate and the mucous membrane of the maxillar sinus, which is an important diagnostic criteria for determining the etiology of rhinosinusitis, were studied and analyzed in detail. Based on the results of the analysis of a series of three-dimensional tomographic studies of the maxillary sinuses, their symmetry and regularities of the ratio of their sizes and shapes in different projections were studied.
