Object of research: mechanisms of state management in the sphere of public order protection. Purpose: theoretical and methodological substantiation of the provisions and development of scientific and practical recommendations for the formation of state management mechanisms in the sphere of public order protection. Methods: analysis, synthesis; logical generalization; structural and genesis; institutional; scenario forecasting. Results: an important scientific task is solved, which consists in the theoretical and methodological substantiation of the provisions and the development of scientific and practical recommendations for the formation of state management mechanisms in the field of public order protection. Novelty: for the first time, conceptual approaches to the formation of state management mechanisms in the sphere of public order protection are substantiated; improved: tools for increasing the effectiveness of the information mechanism of state administration in the field of public order protection; approaches to the formation of the communication mechanism of state administration in the sphere of public order protection; scientific and methodical approaches to public administration in the sphere of public order protection; received further development: the categorical apparatus of state administration by clarifying the essence of the concepts: "mechanism for ensuring the protection of public order"; "constitutional and legal mechanism for ensuring public order"; vectors of the development of the application of state management mechanisms in the sphere of public order protection were added. Implemented into the activity of: Kyiv city public formation for the protection of public order and the state border "Association of Voluntary People's Wives of Svyatoshyn District"; Public organization "Association of Scientists of Ukraine"; National University of Civil Defense of Ukraine. Fields of use: state authorities, local authorities and local administration, enterprises, public organizations.
