Pravosud O. Public trust to system of public governance in the field of national security of Ukraine.

Object of research: public administration in the field of ensuring national security. Purpose: determination of scientific and theoretical foundations and development of practical recommendations for the formation of public trust in the system of public administration in the sphere of ensuring national security in Ukraine. Methods: logical generalization, factor analysis, synthesis and abstraction; theorizing and historical formalization; system analysis, comparison, sampling and description; induction and deduction; clustering, modeling and forecasting. Results: an important scientific task is solved, which consists in determining the scientific and theoretical foundations and developing practical recommendations for the formation of public trust in the system of public administration in the sphere of ensuring national security in Ukraine. Novelty: for the first time, the institutional principles of increasing the level of public trust in the public administration system in the sphere of ensuring national security in Ukraine have been defined, which provide for the following: 1) legislative consolidation of the structure of the public administration system, which includes state and self-governing; 2) a change in priorities in this management process towards actualization of the role of local self-government bodies as the closest institutions to the population; 3) improvement of organizational, informational and analytical provision of public administration in the specified area by means of decoding of information coming from its bodies; improved: directions of development of the organizational and legal mechanism of forming public trust in the system of public administration in the field of national security in Ukraine; scientific approaches to assessing the level of public trust in public administration bodies in the sphere of ensuring the national security of Ukraine; received further development: definition of the concept of public trust in the public administration system in the field of ensuring national security using a comprehensive approach; systematization of factors for the formation of public trust in public administration in the field of ensuring national security using the method of historical formalization; generalization of foreign practices of implementation of public administration in the field of national security and involvement of the population in it; structuring of the organizational and legal mechanism of forming public trust in public administration bodies in the sphere of national security of Ukraine.
