Essay

The dissertation is dedicated to elucidating the essence, content, and peculiarities of the administrative and legal foundations of personnel selection for the Security Service of Ukraine in the conditions of its renewal. It also aims to develop proposals and recommendations focused on improving administrative legislation, the norms of which regulate social relations in the respective sphere. The main stages of the formation and development of the Security Service of Ukraine are disclosed. The problems of forming the personnel composition of the Security Service of Ukraine are outlined. Factors influencing the quality of personnel support for the Security Service of Ukraine are identified. The concept and structure of the mechanism of administrative and legal regulation of personnel selection for the Security Service of Ukraine are determined. The current state of administrative legal regulation of personnel selection for the Security Service of Ukraine is assessed. Characteristics of the principles of administrative and legal regulation of personnel selection for the Security Service of Ukraine are provided. Forms and methods of personnel selection for the Security Service of Ukraine are disclosed. The international experience in the legal regulation of personnel selection for law enforcement agencies is summarized, and the possibilities of its application in Ukraine in the conditions of the renewal of the Security Service of Ukraine are explored. Directions for improving the administrative and legal regulation of personnel support for the Security Service of Ukraine are clarified.
