The thesis contains theoretical and experimental investigation of voluntary and involuntary memorization peculiarities with future-aimed orientation and without thes orientation of English descriptive texts and dialogies in two age groups-10-11 and 13-14 year-old-pupils. Comparative analysis of the results showed that future-aimed orientation, the number of pupils in group (one, four, twelwe), pupils'age, different communicative activity organization of those being taught in the process of learning foreign language influence the effectiveness of memorization. The results of work let us formulate recommendations, directed to considerable improvement the quality of educational process, which can be used when teaching English.
