Activity of higher educetional establishments (HEE) with the physical culture profile in the field of employment of their graduates under the period of transition to the market economy. Define the peculiarities of employment of the graduates of the HEE with phisical culture profile in the period ot transition to the market economy and to develop recommendation on the improvement of the current HEE with the physical culture profile on the issues of employment of the graduates. Method of investigations: analysis of the new scientical literature, legal documents and statistical data, mass and pilot questionnaires, expert evaluation method, elements of the system-functional analysis and modelling organisational-management experiment, methods of mathematicalstatistics. Sphere of the systematic analysis of the employment issues of the graduates of the HEE with the physical culture profile, besed on the research of their current position on the jop market in the period of the transition to the market economy. Suggested scheme of employment for the graduates of the HEE with the physical culture profile under the conditions of the establishment of market economy. The priority directions for the activity of the HEEs with the physical culture profile on the issues of employment of the graduates, corresponding to the demant in the jop markets and the needs of the state. New components were suggested to be introduced to the academic curriculum. The model of an employment agency for the HEE with the physical culture profile was developed.
