The basic issues of the dissertation are depicted in 9 scientific works. It's been found that in the early mesolithic in the forest-steppe left-bank area of the Dnieper and in the Basin of the Seversky Donets the cultural phenomenon receiving the name Zimivniky culture was developed. It has developed on the base of Final Palaeolithic monuments of Borshevo II type under influence of the Krasnosillya culture not later than end Drias III. For the flint implement of Zimivniky site is typical not blade but flake, hard hammer flint technique, large size and rough artefacts. One and two platforms cores for unregulated blades and flakes are dominating. Main type of microliths are large, rough, symmetric trapezes on the flakes. Us a rule they has notched retouched sides and high and middle high proportions. There are any small trapezes. The culture was submitted by three local variants. The development of the culture proceeded up to end of period Boreal and is divided on two chronological stages.
