Essay

The work is devoted to the problems of structural changes as factor of economic growth in Ukraine. The author investigates a new line of structuring this country‘s economy based on the System of National Accounts. It is proved that the result of the economic crisis, together with the drop of real GDP, is aggravation of GDP structure, which trend, in its turn, further worsens this country‘s economic condition. The author also analyses methods and models of macroeconomic forecasting, as well as forecasts of this country‘s economic structure. It is established that economic growth is possible after alteration of sectoral structure of the economy (in favour of the sectors producing final consumption and investment commodities), structure of primary incomes (considerable reduction of tax share in GDP in favour of the share of gross profits for reproduction self-financing ), and structure of final use of GDP (towards the level of investment that is sufficient for starting economic expansion)
