Optimal directions of the drill technique improvinj aim of its economy, reliability and ergonomical indexes have been determined on the base of investigations, structural analysis and stand tests of the best drill patterns. Structural decisions realizinj indicated directions have been suggested and studied. Calculation methods of percussive impulses in the drill rig, drill blow freguency and enegry which take into consideration the piston instantaneous speed, coordinated. Drill rigs tension and their junctions have been studied, their construction optimization direction have been determined.
