Essay

Goals: Based on the materials gathered peculiarities of establishing settlements in Polyssya as well as their local features and yard design, dwellings, and household structures. Another aim is to trace and describe the changes occurring in the character of public construction. Methods: expeditionary, comparative-historic. As results 32 scientific papers have been published, including 4 monographs. Application: for the purpose of developing exposition in the museums in the open air (scansens), as well as to prepare generalized proceedings on ethnography and the ethnographical atlas.
