Essay

Under defence there are 13 scientific works which contain the results of the experimental research of the effects of arachidonic acid metabolites on the functional activities of rat cultured hepatocytes. The results indicate that arachidonic acid metabolites are involved in the regulation of hepatocytes functions. This work also shows a protective action of lipoxygenase and thromboxane synthetase inhibitors on toxic injured hepatocytes.
