The object of the research is machinery as the instrument of a labor, metal-cutting machinetools for example. The aim of the thesis research is the development of scientific basis of economic evaluation of competitiveness of a machine at the stage of technological preparation of production and corresponding reference methods. A systematic method of phenomena research, the theory of graphs, mathematical statistical methods of expert evaluation , network methods of planning and management, multicreteria methods of evaluation are used for this purpose. Theoretical and practical results and their novelty. The Thesis deals with the development of scientific basis of economic evaluation of competitiveness of instruments of labor (machinery) at the stage of technological preparation of production. The criteria for economic evaluation of competitiveness of machinery is proposed and grounded. Notion of competitiveness resource is given and method of its calculation is developed. Questions of mullet-criteri a evaluation of the quality of technological preparation of production as a factor of increasing the competitiveness of the product are considered. An algorithm and calculation program for a personal-computer has been developed. The given recommendations can be used by any enterprise producing labor instrumentation.
