Essay

The branches and the enterprises of food industry of the Crimean Autonomous Republic, in particular, the enterprises of dairy, meat, cannery and bakery of AIC. The studying of state of the food branches in the Crimea and the scientific ground of the reserves of the increasing the effec-tiveness of the enterprises in the new economic conditions. In the work it is applied the totality of economic, mathematical and statistical methods, which try to get to the high truth of suggestions and conclusions. Some laws of the development of food industry from 1940 to 1990 in Ukraine and the Crimea are considered in the work, there are tendencies of fall in the food production in 1991-1997 years. It is defined the economic role of the food industry, the development of which helps to stabilize and to increase the economy of the AIC in Ukraine.It is defined more precisely the method and the economic and the mathematical model of optimum concentration of production in different branches of food industry and there ar e practical calculations of rational size of the enterprises and the raw zones for them. The new partner condi-tions between the agricultural and process enterprises and given in the work, there is a total mark of their mutual activity. The new economic functions of enterprises are determined to coordinate their work. The recommendations are adopted to application by the AIC Ministry of the Crimea.
