Essay

Sugar beets. To observe growth distinctions and development of seed plants of different biological forms of sugar beets and to also realize the biological growth potential of triploid male-sterile hybrids in its seed productivity by developing and improving the growth conditions for seed plants. Common research methods were used. There have been determined the growth distinctions of material sugar beets and seed plants, yield level and seed quality of different biological forms of sugar beets. There have been developed growing methods for seed plants of triploid hybrids of new generation. There have been developed growing methods for seed plants of triploid hybrids, developed on the cytoplasmic male-sterile basis, which provides increase in yield up to 2 tons per hectare and quality.
