Essay

Research object: new progressive information technologies in education. Purpose of research: working out methodical and methodological foundations of effective using the modern information technologies components while studying physics and preparing physics teachers to the use of these technologies in their professional activity. Methods of research: study and analyze of literature; theoretical research; observation; interviewing; pedagogical experiment; analyze of practical works;- square; criterion of signs; pair comparison. Results: analyze and classification of elements of the structure of the training material are carried out on an example of physics; methods of determination of hierarchy of concepts is worked out; methodical and methodological foundations of preparation of physics teachers to the use of structuring domain concepts. Principles and algorithms of building diagnostic and planing expert systems are worked out; a new approach for diagnostics of knowledge/skills of future physics teache rs on the ground of questions being asked by student themselves while building knowledge bases for expert system. It is confirmed experimentally that study of physics with the help of modern information technologies promotes to: acceleration of formation of all the parts of way of acting; working out of qualities allowing fulfilling the most important professional teacher's functions. The results are inculcated in instructional process at the physics department of the Donetsk State University while studying physics, preparation of physics teachers specializing in computer technologies of education, carrying out of three degree works and six course works during 1993-1998. Novelty: conception of learning as a process of extraction of knowledge is offered; an approach to structuring domain knowledge with the help of methods of knowledge representation is realized; foundations of principle to use expert systems in instruction are carried out; methodical basis of preparation of physics teacher being able to use mo dern information technologies is worked out. Field of use: teaching physics and didactics of physics.
