Shcherbakova O. Problem of formation of the national elite of Ukraine through the prism of 90's press

Thesis studies one of the most polemical and important problem of transitional stage of the State construction - formation of the national elite of Ukraine through the prism of 90's press. One of the first attempts in the Ukrainian journalistic knowledge is realized to reveal a role of mutual influence of modern domestic press in the process of the national elite formation and reflection in the press of metamorphosis of the national elite in the context of social-cultural and internal-political reality. The 90's press role is also analysed in organization of public debate on elite problems against the background of problems of Ukrainian society transformation. Prospects of formation of the modern national elitr of Ukraine are outlined in the context of the State personnel policy on the border of centennials, taking into account the interdependence of science, education, culture and mass media in the process of formation of intellectual spiritual potential of Ukraine and upbringing of elite personalit ies.
