Essay

The dissertation investigates a role of the communication as the tool of environmental policy. The research is made on the example of the communication components - press and public relations. The experience of Ukraine and Germany is involved. The comparative content-analysis of the leading newspapers of both countries was made. For the first time the new direction in the Ukrainian journalistic studies - environmental journalism - has been worked out and its correlation to the environmental policy has been retraced. The environmental component of national policy and safety was considered. The domestic environmental press was investigated.
