Essay

The objects of research: in macroeconomic view - the organizational structure of agriculture in Ukraine and in the countries of developed market economies with the focusing role of cooperative processes in agricultural producers' activities; in microeconomic view - cooperatives and their unions as well as other enterprises which want to get the organizational and legal status of agricultural cooperative. The aim of research is to develop theoretical and methodological fundamentals of the cooperative type organizational structure formation in Ukraine. The main methods: historical-economical analysis, statistic-economical, monographic, abstract-logical, sociometric, experts' evaluation, system-comparing analysis and synthesis, calculating-constructional, experimental. Theoretical and practical results: theoretical and methodological grounding of the non-for-profit principle of service cooperatives, the classification of cooperatives according to their adequacy to the cooperative enterprise concept, theor etical analysis of collective farms pseudocooperative character, grounding of the main directions of agricultural cooperative legislation improving. The scientific novelty of dissertation is in the development of theoretical and methodological fundamentals of cooperative type agriculture's organizational structure formation, systematization of experience and determination of main tendencies of cooperative agribusiness development in the developed countries, forecasting of levels and stages of cooperative movement formation in Ukraine agriculture. The level of implementation: the proposals developed within the study have been implemented in Lviv, Odesa, Rivne, Poltava Oblasts and also in the Autonomous Republic of Crimea. The efficiency: it will contribute to creation and spreading of cooperative enterprises and their unions in agriculture on the basis of private property and other important institutions of market economic system and will become an alternative to the non-controlled expansion of private interme diate business under conditions of decreasing state intervention and centralized regulation in agriculture.
