Essay

Autonomous homeostasis, breathings, blood circulation had been studied. It was shown that the most resistant to hyperbaric influences are the organisms with normotonic type of autonomous homeostasis or with moderate predominance of activity of sympathetic or parasympathetic divisions of autonomous nervous system. In divers as a result of long-term regular hyperbaric influences two differently directed processes were shown, one of which is connected with formation of some beneficial adaptive re-arrangements in the organism to optimize the response to hyperbaria. Another type of processes is related to essential decrease in functional capacity, overloading or exhausting in adaptation mechanisms, progressing pre- and pathological alterations as such within certain systems of the organism. Hypothesis about human organism behaving like an ultrastable system during hyperbaric influences was experimentally proven.
