Gojda N. Scientific grounding and working out of a system of medical-sanitarian care for the women with extragenital pathology

The work is devoted to the issues of medical-sanitarian care organization for the women with extragenital pathology. The increase in frequency of extragenital pathology starting from the first year of girl's life and during reproductive age, pregnancy and delivery included is shown. It causes the high levels of maternal and reproductive losses. The negative influence of unfavourable economic, social and environmental factors upon somatic health formation is proved. Inadequacy of the existing system of medical-sanitarian care organization for the women with extragenital pathology on the basis of complex social-hygienic research is detected. The qualitatively new system is grounded and it model is worked out. It permits to preserve available elements of the existing system, introduce the new ones and functionally combined them. The results of application of the achievements confirms it high medical and economical effectiveness, particullary the decrease of maternal mortality in Ukraine from 30,4 on 100000 liveborns in 1996 to 29,5 in 1998, perinatal mortality from 12,2 to 11,3 ‰, infant mortality from 14,3 to 12,8 ‰. It is typical for the positive trends of indicated levels and it approaches the Ukraine to the indices recommended by the WHO for the European region.
