Moskalenko V. Medical-social aspects of elemination of ecological disaster consequences in megapolis

Thesis is dedicated to investigation of the problem of elimination of technogenic-environmental disaster consequences under the circumsences of megapolis (on the example of accident on Dykanivsky cleansing edifices - Kharkiv, 1995). Current concepts concerning genesis of technogenic and environmental disasters and their conseguences were studied. Fourphased conception of medical-social consequences elimination of accident was scientifically grounded. Model of systemic approach to eliminative measures formation and their realization by disaster medicine and local regional medical services in case of technogenic accident was worked out. The new classification of extremal conditions in enviromental-technogenic disasters was proposed for the implimentation. Basic principles of organization measures targeted on liquidation of disasters consequences were determined and established. Medical, sanitary hygienic and epidemiological aspectes of extremal conditions in megapolis as a consequence of accident (in par ticular on city's cleansing edifices) were studied.
