Investigation object: elderly workers. Investigation purpose: To clarifying the physiological mechanisms of labor activity of persons of different age and to elaborate a complex of methods of an estimation of professional work ability for elderly workers chological, physiological, ergometric and statistical. Theoretical and practical results, novelty of the investigation: Complex study and systems analysis for the first time are dedicated to clarifying physical, psychomotor and mental activity for people of different age. It was found that the age decrease of labor effectiveness of a person occurs due to a cumulative effect of aging of separate elements of human organism functional systems. Regimes of mental labor and a complex of methods of an estimation of professional work ability for elderly workers were developed. Degree of application: has been implemented into health care system and government programs.Area of application: labor physiology and health care system.
