Object - working processes of submergible drilling shells (SDS) with a hydroshock drive; the purpose - theoretical and applied development of scientific bases of creation SDS and drills for single voyage drilling of underwater holes; methods - generalization and development of the theory, methods of account and optimization hydraulic hammer (HH); experimental researches HH with use of the tensometric equipment and special stands; novelty - for the first time: the dominant meaning on formation force of moving of the piston HH of additional pressure which is a quantitative estimation of energy of a flow is established; the new laws of formation of the characteristics HH in a wide range of change of a parity of the working area of the piston HH and area of the pipeline are received; the new decision of a scientific problem consisting in theoretical and applied development of scientific bases of creation and optimization multifunctional hydroshock SDS ensuring combined way single voyage drillings of holesis given. The results - are developed methods of definition and optimization of parameters SDS and modes of the combined drilling; are developed and are introduced in the sea drilling enterprises of Ukraine and Russia SDS and drills for single voyage drilling of underwater holes by depth 6 - 10 m with low- and mid- tonnage drilling ships.
