In the dissertation at first the question of health preservation of rural residents has been solved as the complex problem of social development of villages. The necessity of differentiation of measures to health preservation of residents of the villages of different social types accordingly to the peculiarities of social, transport, engineer, industrial infrastructures, demographic situation, morbidity, needs in medico-social care is proved. Medico-social bases and perspective measures of health preservation of rural residents in basic types of villages have been scientifically elaborated.
