Onischuk G. City complex of Ukraine: theory and practice of development

The object - the process of forming of the main directions and ways of raising of efficiency of development and of location of productive forces of the urban complex of Ukraine (UCU); the aim - to develop the theoretical-methodological basis, to substantiate the recommendations on development of the urban complex of Ukraine, forming of efficient management of urban economy; the methods - systematic, abstract-logical, detailed-historical, program-target, economic-statistical, economic modeling and forecasting, materialistic-dialectic, comparative analysis and grouping; the novelty - the conceptual basis of efficient development of urban economy is developed, the essence of the UCU is defined and theoretically substantiated, the directions of use of intellectual, information, managing and production resources of cities are specified, as well as progressive forms of cooperation and integration with regions; the results - the improvement of ways of social-economic development, forming of modern economic-financial relations in the UCU.
