The work is devoted to the research of the main characteristics and processes in spontaneous sources of radiation on atoms and rare gas halides with pumping of transverse volume discharge, glow discharge of low pressure and different types of corona discharges. The Trent of optical diagnostics of non - equilibrum electrodischarge plasma of rare gases and their mixtures with halide containing molecules, based on non-stationary spectroscopy of radiation and absorption was developed in this paper. The characteristics and mechanism of ignition transverse volume discharge with a pre-breakdown ionised reproduction of electrons in mixtures of rare gases and halide containing molecules were determined. The row of UV - VUV spontaneous source of radiation on B-X transition of monohalides of rare gases and products of dissociation of water molecules, which radiate in the range 175-353 nm were designed and optimised. The plasmochemical applications of transverse discharge in Chlorine, Freon and mixtures of silancontaining molecules were broaden. The condition of existing and characteristics of poliyelectrode corona discharges in rare gases and their mixtures with molecules N2, CO, CO2, H2, SF6, CCl4 and HCl, used in the electrodischarge sources of radiation were detected.
