Cheban V. Reproductive health of communities and working out of system of medico-social prevention of abnormalities of its development

The dissertation deals with Ukraine's reproductive health of communities (its assessment, development, risk factors, technologies for preventing disturbances of reproductive health development). This category, as the basis of the constituent part of the health of communities, has not been studied sufficiently (the conceptual apparatus, assessment criteria, risk factors, ect.) is of particular medico-social importance for an individual, family, society and of strategic significance for the country. Owing to this fact one of the fundamental tasks of a scientific research was a study of socio-medical conditionality of cause-and-effect processes that results in disturbances of the development of the health of communities. On the basis of a complex socio-hygienic research it has become possible to obtain factographic findings, determine the specific features of sickness rate epidemiology, invalidism, developmental defects and risk factors. This has made it possible to assess the state and determineprognostic tendencies, leading to disturbances of the reproductive health development. A scientifically substantiated system of technologies for preventing developmental disturbances of reproductive health of the state, regional, family and individual levels has been worked out on the basis of the experimental findings.
