The object is process of teaching mathematics at the basic school; the aims to reveal contents and functions of the semiotic component of the school mathematical education, to develop the conception of the scientifically proved to using of the sing-symbolic means in the teaching mathematics at the basic school, to construct the methodic system model of its realization at different grade levels to mathematics in 5-9 classes; the methods are theoretical analysis and synthesis, mathematical and statistical methods; the new approach lies in scientifically explanation of the theoretic-methodological and methodical principles of the sign-symbolic means in teaching mathematics at school; the main results - the contents and functions of the semiotic component of the school teenagers training in mathematics are revealed, the methodic system model is constructed, the scientific principles of the propedeutics organizing and indirect forming of students' knowledge, skills and habits during the mathematics course studying at the basic school are worked out; are introduced at schools and high schools of a pedagogical structure; the field is the theory and methodics of teaching mathematics
