Essay

The meaning "plant introduction as industrial crop" is theoretically substantiated and shown in the new interpretation. The necessity of Jerusalem artichoke introduction as industrial crop is proven as the plant practically introductional but the one that has limited industrial usage. Correspondingly to the defined task, the main elements of its modern growing technology were developed and theoretically substantiated. Jerusalem artichoke Podilsky 94 variety was developed and zoned. The scheme of near farm crop rotation with three-year usage of Jerusalem artichoke planting was worked out. The systems of the soil cultivation and fertilizing were researched. It is determined that optimum alternative of the plough land should have the depth of 25…27 centimeters + soil deepening to 38…40 centimeters. It is shown that exclusion from the full fertilization (N60P60K60) of the nitrogen lowers the yield to 7,7 tons/hectares, phosphorus - to 3,5 tons/hectares, potassium - to 5,7 tons/hectares. The best fertilization for the Jerusalem artichoke on the chernozem of the south-western part of the forest-steppe of Ukraine is 30 tons/hectares of pus + N60P60K60. Optimum autumn planting time is the third ten days of October (average potato yield - 41,7 tons/hectares), spring planting time is the second ten days of April (average yield - 40,3 tons/hectares). Planting stock preparation is connected with the renovation of their condition while soaking in extraction of saponite clays that consist of the number of irreplaceable microelements. The effectiveness of the plant growing biostimulant usage is shown. Average growth of the potato yield while plant spraying with biostimulant in the 8-leaf phase is 6,8 tons/hectares (21,8%); best chemical is emistum C. It is offered to use Jerusalem artichoke as a primary culture for the intensive mastering of the man-caused soil that are created in the revegetation zones of mining construction enterprise.
