Processes of human interactions in the economic sphere under conditions of the total transforming of the economy. Based on the institutional approach a complex research into the problem of peculiarities of economic behavior under conditions of Ukraine's transitional economy, the influence of institutional changes on transformation processes and working out recommendations as to their intensification was carried out. The logical-dialectical method of cognition, methods of systematic and structural analysis, factors analysis, comparative and statistical analysis, key provisions and conceptual apparatus of the institutional theory. A new solution of the scientific problem of formation of the market type of behavior. Objective prerequisites, patterns and ways of intensifying the institutional changes with a stress put on the necessity of developing a civil society are defined.
