The dissertation is devoted to the researching problems of the functioning of the financial mechanism. Its concept is defined as the important economical category. The function of the main elements of the financial mechanism (financial methods and the financial levers) in different systems of economy is retraced. The study on such synthetical financial levers as leasing, factoring and franchising is developed. The legal status, standardization and information support of the financial mechanism is well-founded. The financial policy is regarded as the element of the financial mechanism. The way of improving of the financial policy and the legal security of the financial mechanism is proposed.
