Essay

The thesis is dedicated to questions of geometric simulation and optimization of heat transmission by means of radiation in infra-red installations under thermal treatment of foodstuffs. The object of the research is a phenomenon of ray heat transmission in the closed volume of the IR-installation. The subject of the research is a geometrical model of rays’ path in the closed volume of the IR-installation considering the reflection. The methods of the research are elements of synthetic ruled geometry, computer simulation, analytic and differential geometry, differential calculus, the theory of heat exchange, heat engineering. Novelty: the description of the function that controls the distribution of reflected rays is first proposed for the formation of a beam of reflected rays with the set properties; the ways of geometric handling the value of heat flows according to the conditions of the technological process are developed; the geometrical model of the process of ray heat transmission in the absorbing gas media is proposed. The introduction is accomplished in the food-branch establishments.
