Partyko Z. The normative conception of editing theory.

The development of editing and computerization of publication process is described. The modern stage of editing system is analyzed. Possibility of creation of the normative theory editing conception is defined experimentally. Methodological foundations of the normative conception of editing theory are worked up (model of messages communication in mass-media and editing theory from the position of the normative theory; basic foundations of the normative conception of editing theory; normative base of editing and it's representation as records in database; methods for measuring and evaluation of messages quality; formalized editing methods). Models for messages processing on the base of the normative conception of editing theory are proposed: a common model as well as linguistic, psycholinguistic, informational and other editing norms. These models are tested by means of creation of the experimental editing system. In this system as software are realized: improvement for subsystem of orthography control, subsystems for stylistic, punctuation, psycholinguistic (complexity) control.
