Essay

For the first time the principles of maintenance of the given longevity of ship Internal Combustion Engine by regeneration of working surfaces properties of its basic elements in various fields during maintenance and at repair are deve-loped. Models of mass transfer on a component surface under the action of gra-dients of acting fields are obtained, their structure is determined and quantitative relationships are established. The variational principle of the analysis of existing one and synthesis of new technologies to raise longevity is offered. By the ex-ample of pump-element of high pressure fuel pump and piston crowns of me-dium-reverse ship diesel the new approach to eliminate specific operational damages of the components in non-uniform fields is offered and implemented. To get reasonableness while comparing technologies of raise longevity of details ship diesel it is offered to use integrated characteristics instead of discrete estimations of elements of regimes and gained properties of workingsurfaces, their numerical data are determined. Taking into account tests of the regenerated components and surfaces the concept of use of the regenerated details with the given longevity, allowing to reduce purchase expenses of spare parts and to introduce regeneration technolo-gies having been mastered at Ukrainian Shipyards is offered.
