Essay

Research objective: social and economic processes of structural transformation of the national economy. Research goal: revealing the objective patterns of national economies transformation, scientific generalisation of the theoretical, methodological and practical foundations of structural transformation of the Ukraine's economy. Methods: The research fundamental background is based upon the principles and categories of dialectical materialism (scientific abstraction, analysis and synthesis, induction and deduction, uniformity of historic and logical) subject to the uptodate methodological paradigm of the contemporary science - synergetics. Theoretical and practical outcomes: a systematic approach has been used as to building the scientific background for the development of the national strategy towards the structural policy. Scientific novelty: this is the first integrated piece of work presenting theoretical and methodological foundations of the structural reformation of the national economy based upon the new trend of economic theory - a synergetic postneoclassical synthesis. Implementation phase: Practical importance of theoretical, methodical, scientific and applied aspects of the above research is being verified by the result of their practical application in the activity of public institutions, in particular: by the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine; Council for National Security and Defence of Ukraine; Administration of the President of Ukraine; Ministry of Economics and on the Issues of European Integration of Ukraine. Implementation efficiency: Practical application of the research outcomes seems to be an important prerequisite for the formation of the theory of structural reformation of the national economy at the current stage of market and democratic changes in Ukraine.
