The dissertation is theoretical experimental research of theory and methods of analysis of literary text in the course of Ukrainian literature at the secondary school. The historical and logical review of solving the problem of studying a literary work in Studies of Literature and Methods of Teaching has been made philosophical aspects of comprehension of the art of the word have been highlighted psychological and pedagogical conditions of effective of teaching literary analysis have been revealed the innovating systems of teaching which are also perspective in the field of literary education have been generalized. The theoretical and methodical model of pupils' abilities to analyze literary works individually has been offered the teaching projects of experimental analysis for the 5-11 grades have been given. The modeled methodical system of teaching pupils for forming the skills to analyze literary works of different genres (prose poetry and drama) and kinds (fables ballads poems) proved to be effective.
