Essay

Object – speech and play activity of senior preschoolers. Aim – to develop theoretical, methodical and conceptual bases of developing coherent speech of senior preschoolers exposing appropriateness of speech development due to communicative, activity, system and cultorological approaches; to determine interaction of different types of activity in the process of development of coherent speech; to define and substantiate pedagogical terms; to develop experimental methods of developing coherent speech of children in speech and play activity; to specify appropriateness and stages of developing coherent speech of children. Methods – theoretical, empiric, statistical. Theoretical results and novelty – the author is the first to determine, substantiate and to introduce into scientific review of preschool linguodidactics attributive parameters of such phenomena as «speech and play activity», «speech and play competence»; to substantiate interaction of speech, educational speech, communicative and play activity on the stage of preschool age; to determine, classify and characterize word, verbal (reproductive and creative) games; to reveal appropriateness and stages of development of coherent speech of senior preschoolers in speech and play activity; to determine the essence of such notions as «verbal game», «word game», «playing competence». The methods of teaching mother tongue to children and development of coherent speech acquired further development. Practical results and novelty – the system of verbal games, speech and play exercises and situations directed to development of coherent speech; the special course «Speech and play activity of children in preschool educational establishment». Subject and degree of introduction – methods of development of coherent speech of children in speech and play activity. Efficiency of introduction – high. Branch – pedagogical, preschool educational establishments.
