Essay

The object is a technology of diamond grinding technical ceramic; the goal - development of methods of providing of needed lifecycle parameters for elements from technical ceramics by means of formation of surface layer of products with diamond grinding; the methods - system analysis of connections of lifecycle of technical ceramic products with process of diamond grinding, electronic microscopy and luminous defectoscopy with chemical treatment, investigation of 3D topography of wheel surface and workpiece surface.The dissertation deals with solving of one of the most important scientific and technical problem of provision of the operational characteristics of products made of structural ceramic. The methodological approach to form the required operational indices of the workpiece surface layer is proposed. It is based on the system analysis of the "life cycle of products" . The application of the scientific postulate stating that the grinding process is the interaction of the random vector field of the grinding circle and workpiece made it possible to describe the regularities of the tolerance material removal and forming of the workpiece surface layer. The functional relation between the structure of the defective surface layer of the products made of the technical ceramic after the diamond grinding and the force directed to the surface layer is stated. This relation is defined by the material fragility index, processing parameters and the circle working surface state. The joint influence of the defects of the workpiece and ceramic processing on the workpiece surface layer strain with taking into account the character of their forming under the diamond grinding. It allows to choose the workpiece processing technology to provide the required probability of the failure free operation of the products. The degree of using - results of investigation are used at state scientific manufacturing plant 'Kvarsit", at experimental shop of JSV "Isoterm", at firm "Ceramics". The field of using - enterprises of aircraft, coal, metallurgic and machinebuilding industry.
