Object – transformation process of the economic space of the country; subject – theoretical-methodological issues of transformational changes and regulation of the economic space; objective – substantiation of theoretical-methodological basic principles of the economic space transformation as well as development of practical recommendations on regulating this process; methods – system-structural analysis, economical-statistical, logical-structural, economic modeling and prognosis development, graphical; innovation – new direction for improvement of economic space transformation has been formulated, methodology of its development has been substantiated, evaluation system for transformation processes has been developed; results – a strategy for the economic space development and its territorial organization has been worked out, the major results of the dissertation have been already brought in the economic practice.
